'Ori Tahiti Online Classes
Learn the art of Tahitian Dance & beauties of Polynesian Culture in the comfort of your own home! We have classes for all levels of dancers, no experience needed.
Each class will focus on the basic steps/ technique of 'Ori Tahiti. We will begin class with warming up our bodies, a break down of the steps or choreography, and run through exercises to enhance our skills. All classes are recorded live via Zoom and made available to you via a private link with unlimited replays for the duration of the course + 30 extra days.

What to expect: Beginner level class is perfect for dancers with little to no experience in Tahitian Dance. This class is also great for those who are getting back into dance and need a reminder on how to move their bodies. We will cover the basic steps & fundamentals with detailed exercises to grow strength both physically and mentally. You will learn a simple choreography to put all of your new skills to the test! Each 8 week Beginner's course is different from each other. You are able to take this class multiple times to grow more comfortable in your body.
How this works: All classes take place live via Zoom.com. Once you sign up, you will be sent a private code to enter the zoom meeting as well as further details to better your experience. Each class recorded live and made available through a private link. All class recordings, music, and extra details will be available in your class GoogleDoc for the duration of the course + 1 extra month. You may take each class at your own time if you can not make it live.
What do you need: A phone, laptop, or tablet that can access Zoom.com + a good WIFI connection. If you join live, it is preferred to keep your camera on so your teacher can see you and help give instructions to better your experience. You may wear an athletic top & Pareo(sarong) tied around your hips.

Advanced Level

WHAT TO EXPECT: Pupu Here is an advanced based class focused on intricate choreography, solo competition training, and lessons on how to be a better creative. In this class, Kanani will push you to be your best! Her goal is to break your walls and help you reach your 'Ori goals! Pupu Here was created to better a dancer's ability to create and innovate! This class will challenge you to step out of the box and become the dancer you have always wanted to be. On top of the creative side, this class will strengthen your body! We work on stamina & advanced level basics at a faster pace. Pupu Here has brought many dancer's to new limits, award winning performances, and more!
